A while ago, we gave you a bit of an update on the Paralympic year so far as we kick-started the competitive season where meeting qualification times for the Paralympic Games was the main objective for all competing.
With both the IPC European Swimming Championships and the IPC Athletics European Championships under the belt, our swimmers are well underway in the next training block and our track and field athletes are getting ready to hit training hard once again, preparing for the ultimate goal as it now comes into view.
Paralympics GB announce first wave of track and field athletes to join the team
Earlier this month, the British Paralympic Association announced the first wave of track and field athletes selected for the Paralympic Games 2016 including oneathlete supported Paralympic Champion Richard Whitehead (T42 100m and 200m). Another announcement will take place later in July to confirm the remaining places on the team for track and field.

Tim Stevenson shares in our first vlog about what we’ve achieved so far, where we are now and what lies ahead. Sam Ruddock features with some words from Grosetto while he was out there as Team Captain for the British Athletics team at the IPC Athletics European Championships.
